Alma Williams, 92, Gassville (Kirby)

Alma Williams of Gassville, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on August 2, 1933, in Waterloo, Illinois, she was the daughter of Alvin and Alma Arlew Johanning. Alma married Robert Williams on February 16, 1952, in Waterloo, Illinois, and later made Arkansas her home in 1981.Throughout her life, Alma dedicated herself to nurturing others, working as a Dietician for Good Samaritan and finding joy in caring for her family. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where her faith was a guiding light.

Alma is remembered by her two sons, Scott (Rita) Williams of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Brad (Jody) Williams of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law, Joan; and three cherished grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Alma Arlew Johanning; her husband, Robert Gene Williams; and her son, Blake Williams.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Arrangements are entrusted to Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services, Mountain Home.
