Two Theodosia residents injured in two-vehicle crash

Two Theodosia residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday on U.S. Highway 160, five miles east of Isabella.

According to a report from Trooper A.R. Johnson of Missouri State Highway Patrol, a eastbound truck driven by 29-year-old Kelly Risley, also of Theodosia, crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle driven by 76-year-old William Bolls.Bolls was reported to be in serious condition after the accident and taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. A passenger in Bolls’ vehicle, 78-year-old Barbara Sneed, was also taken to Baxter Regional with moderate injuries. A hospital spokesperson says neither were listed as a patient as of Thursday morning. Both Bolls and Sneed were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the 6:55 p.m. accident.

Risley was uninjured. The report says he was wearing a seatbelt.
