Arkansas Department of Transportation officials say the State Highway Commission has approved a bid for work on a Gassville street. The project will resurface a half mile of School Street.
Dilbeck Excavation, Inc. of Mountain Home was awarded the contract at over $864,000.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in early 2019.
In Boone County, the Highway Commission has approved a bid to widen 4.4. miles of U.S. Highway 65 from Maxie Camp Road westward to State Highway 206.
Nabholz Construction Corporation of Rogers was awarded the contract at almost $23 million.
