Joseph Alan Pritchard of Briarcliff was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to 24 counts of fraudulently using a relative’s credit card and three counts of theft of property.

The 47-year-old Pritchard, who is a parolee from Illinois, was reported to have taken the card and used it to run up almost $1,900 in charges. According to the probable cause affidavit, Pritchard used the card in Mountain Home and in Searcy where he was going through drug rehabilitation. In addition, Pritchard is said to have allowed other people to use the card.

In May, Pritchard pled guilty to using the relative’s card and stealing and pawning a number of items belonging to the relatives. He was given 10 years probation and ordered to pay $20,000 in restitution in that case.

At the time of the initial arrest, Pritchard was living with his mother and her boyfriend in a residence along Lindwood Drive in Briarcliff. According to court records, Pritchard moved in with the couple in October 2015.
