
The Mountain Home City Council will consider six items of new business when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6:00.
Two ordinances are on the agenda. Water and Wasterwater Director Alma Clark is set to present an ordinance amending the contracted water rates between the Mountain Home Water Department and its wholesale purchasers. Mayor Joe Dillard will present an ordinance amending, expanding and redefining the city’s job classification and compensation plan.
In addition, Mayor Dillard will present a resolution “endorsing the critical need for U.S. Highway 412 to be brought to the standards of a priority corridor throughout the state of Arkansas.”
Also on the agenda are presentations from Methvin Sanitation and the Babe Ruth 13-year-old World Series Baseball.
Mayor Dillard will also present a contract renewal from Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance.
The council will meet in the chambers of the Municipal Building.
