
A shooting at the West Plains Snappy Mart, known by locals as the Junction 14 truck stop at Highway 14 and north U.S. 63., has left one man dead and another taken into custody.KY3 News reports an individual was taken into custody following the 8:45 shooting Monday evening, according to police chief Jeff Head.
The victim was rushed to Ozarks Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police have taken one man into custody; there are no other suspects. The chief said the two men likely knew each other, but he added it’s too early in the investigation to release a motive.
The mens’ names and ages have not been released.
