
The Chamber will host an election meeting on Friday October 14 from 11 to 1 at El Chico’s Café, in which the members are asked to stop by and cast their vote for new candidates.
The six candidates with the most votes will join the Chamber Board for 2017 – 2019.
Each membership is allowed one vote. A ballot will be presented to you during the meeting. If you are not able to attend the election meeting, you may reply via email with your six selections. The email ballots will be given to the CPA firm tallying the votes the day of the election.
The twelve candidates are; Daniel Weber, Jordan Marina; Jackie Conner, Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center, High Country Motors, and High Country Apartments; Dr. Jake Long, Superintendent of Mountain Home Public School; Chad Huebner, Good Samaritan Society;Kim Crow-Sheaner Baxter County Library; Rick Garner, Protocol Drug & Alcohol Testing;
Paul Gigliotti, Pirate Perry Events; Tom Kiley, Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services; Heather Loftis, KTLO; Christy Keirn, Director of Communications and Institutional Advancement, ASU-MH; Gregory Wood, Hospice of the Ozarks; and Clint Gaston, Gaston’s White River Resort.
There will be a light taco Bar available during the meeting.
