Four building permits issued in February

Four building permits were issued by the City of Mountain Home during the month of February, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.A permit was issued for Baxter Regional Medical Center for a remodel of the Hensley Behavioral Health Center with a construction value of $1,500,000. Another permit was issued to Walmart for a remodel, with Dave’s Custom Construction listed as the contractor, with a construction value of $50,000.

A permit for the construction of a bathroom addition was issued to Cheryl Waters at a construction cost of $15,000 and a permit was issued to John Tomasak, for a sunroom addition, with a construction cost of $28,000.

The total value of the four permits issued in February was $1,593,000.

One nonresidential construction permit was issued in February to Gayle Hicks, for a storage building,
with a construction value of $1,627.69.

Two sign permits were issued, one to Edward Jones with a construction value of $1,500 and the other to Travis Ford, Attorney at Law, with a value of $2,500.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of February totaled $1,598,627.69, including the actual cost of the building permits at $3,810, $145 for electrical permits, $320 for mechanical permits, $629 for plumbing permits and $15 for a lot split.

The city building and inspection department handled 57 inspections for the month.
