Arkansas State University Mountain Home’s marketing staff received two top awards in the nation for advertising at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) annual meeting in March. The Paragon Awards competition drew 1,943 entries from 243 community colleges across the country.
ASUMH won the Gold Paragon Award for Digital Advertising. The ad, designed by Mindy Fulcher, graphic designer, featured information about Studio Art Classes at ASUMH. The rotating ad featured eight panels with information on drawing, painting and design courses.
The Bronze Paragon award was for a Television/Video Advertising (single) featuring children at a Career Day presentation in an elementary school setting. The feature, titled “When I Grow up…”, can be found on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr5igKMqoKc
NCMPR’s Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. It is the only competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.
Last Year’s Paragon Awards competition drew nearly 1,950 entries from 243 colleges across the country with judging done by nearly 90 professionals from the marketing and public relations industry.
