The City of Cotter, along with the Cotter Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Cotter American Legion Post, will host its Second Annual Memorial Day event Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 6:30 at the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
The celebration will feature a brief ceremony with guest speakers to honor fallen veterans and recognize Cotter as a Purple Heart City.
Food and drinks will be available, including hot dogs and chips, for $3. All proceeds and donations will benefit the cemetery fund. Event planners recommend bringing a lawn chair.
