
All-State teams from the spring sports in Arkansas have been released by the Arkansas Activities Assoriation and North Central Arkansas is well represented on the teams which are voted on by coaches around the state.
Five Mountain Home players earned All-State honors in Class 6A soccer. On the boy’s side, Ewan Platt, Mikey McLean and Paul Athicomnanta were named All-State. Four Lady Bombers earned the honor including Sabra Wickersham, Lauren Helmert, Emma Jones and Sarah Swonger.
Mountain View’s Bailey Sullivan was named to the Class 4A team.
Five girls from Harrison earned All-State honors on the Class 5A team. They are Makayla Campbell, Katie Fowler, Jaycie Keylon, Stella Krore and Brylie Parker.
Several area athletes earned All-State honors in track. In Class 3A, Audra Blevins from Melbourne and Jenae Jennings from Marshall were honored. In Class 2A, Marie Reed and Makayla Bramblett from Cotter along with Anthony Puerta of Salem made the team. Named to the Class 1A teams were Marleigh Dodson from Norfork; Leah Shellnut, Sierra Johnson and Charlea Clark of Jasper; Lauren Mitchell from Mammoth Spring; Kaiden Carlton and Lindsay Williams of Omaha; and Luke Lane from Western Grove.
Two Mountain Home players made the Class 6A All-State baseball team. They are Ben Henderson and Gage McClain. Making the Class 3A team is Jake Moorehouse from Valley Springs and Andrew Pitts from Melbourne. The Class 2A baseball team includes Riley Tomlinson of Salem. Making the Class 1A team are Keagan Dunn and Will Wilson from Viola, Omaha’s Trey Stone and Ethan Nuessner and Tommy Sindland from Lead Hill.
One Mountain Home player was named to the softball Class 6A Team as Maly Tabor earned the honor. Making the Class 3A team are Kadyn Johnson of Mountain View and Maura Moore from Valley Springs. In Class 2A, Salem’s Erin Cameron and Allyson Walsh made the team. Named to the Class 1A team are Viola’s Mallory Guffey, Shaylee Harber and Keyaira Moore; Omaha’s Kendrick Bailey and Cas Yocham; along with Lead Hill’s Kelis Huebner and Betsy Sindland.
