A Mountain Home man, 25-year-old Ryan Michael Kinsley-Daniszewski, has been arrested and charged with felony theft by receiving in connection with a stolen firearm.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Kinsley-Daniszewski, believed to be in possession of a stolen .9mm semi-automatic handgun, was interviewed by a Mountain Home Police officer Tuesday.

The officer recovered the weapon believed to be one of several firearms taken in an on-going investigation by the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.

Contact with the victim confirmed the handgun was taken from his gun room, along with several other firearms.

Kinsley-Daniszwski’s bond was set at $7,500.

This most recent case is not the Mountain Home man’s first brush with law enforcement.

In 2017, he was arrested and charged with residential burglary and theft following an investigation into the break-in of a home.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery said at the time officers were called to 353 County Road 608 in early May where the front door of the home had been kicked in, breaking the door jam. In addition, the garage door had been opened. Officers photographed a shoe print left behind on the door. At the time of the initial report, the possible missing items of property were undetermined.

Later that month, the homeowner discovered that his 21” Craftsman push mower was missing. Kinsley-Daniszewski, who had been working at the property as an employee of a roofing company, was developed as a suspect after it was learned he had just come into possession of a Craftsman push mower.

Sheriff’s investigators then located Kinsley-Daniszewski at his home in Mountain Home and observed the mower in the carport. The deck and cowling of the mower had been painted to alter its appearance.

Kinsley-Daniszewski consented to investigators looking at the bottom of his shoe, which was compared to the photograph of the shoe print taken from the door, and it matched.

Later in 2017, Kinsley-Daniszewski and another man were charged in connection with the theft of a UTV from the lot of Ideal RV along State Highway 5 North. Surveillance video showed two males — later identified Kinsley-Daniszewski and Zachary Bales– enter the gated compound at the business in a light colored minivan and then leave with the UTV valued at about $7,000.
