The Mountain Home 12-year-old Cal Ripken baseball team is among several local teams to advance to Sunday’s action in Springdale. Mountain Home will advance to play for the North District Tournament championship after eliminating Springdale 5-2. Since the local 12-year-olds have one loss, they will have to beat Carroll County twice to win the title. The first game gets underway at noon, and they’ll play again at 4:00 if necessary.
