
The Babe Ruth 13-Year-Old World Series completed its fourth day of competition Sunday in Mountain Home, and it turned out to be the last day of action for Harrison. The North Arkansas state champions wrapped up division play with a 16-0 loss to West Linn, Oregon. Harrison ends up going 0-4 in the National Division.
In Sunday’s other games, Greenville, North Carolina, doubled up Eagle Pass, Texas, 4-2, Greater Portland, Maine, edged out Broomall-Newtown, Pennsylvania, 2-1, and Bemidji, Minnesota, shut out West Louisville, Kentucky, 11-0.
