
Teachers play an extraordinary part in the lives of children and the importance of teachers is something that cannot be understated. In our continuing series, KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot highlights the work of dedicated professionals as part of our Salute to Service series. In this edition, the hard work of teachers is recognized.
Among the many teachers across the Twin Lakes Area are Sandy Wilhite and Kimberly Randall. Wilhite is an 10-12th grade English teacher at Cotter High School and was director of the high school yearbook when it was honored by Jostens in 2016 as a National Yearbook Program of Excellence.
Wilhite says she knew at a young age she wanted to teach.

Kimberly Randall teaches 9th grade English, AP English, speech and yearbook at Flippin High School. Like Wilhite, Randall also knew she was destined to be a teacher.
