Vehicle partially inside building following crash

One of two vehicles involved in a collision at the intersection of State Highway 5 South and College Street in Mountain Home came to rest partially inside the Tank Rae Insurance Agency building Sunday afternoon.According to the report released by the Mountain Home Police Department Wednesday, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Robert Evans of Mountain Home failed to stop at the traffic signal. Evans traveled through the intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Craig Foreman of Mountain Home which was southbound on College.The impact turned the Evans vehicle south on College, where it jumped the curb and crashed into the side of the Tank Rae Insurance building.Neither driver required immediate medical attention, although the report notes possible injury to Evans.Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the 12:52 p.m. accident. Evans was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
