According to Billboard, the holiday collection will include 12 songs — both original tunes and Christmas classics — including the Beach Boys‘ “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” and “Little St. Nick.”
Pop group Hanson will guest on the track “Finally It’s Christmas.”
“Music is something that always brought my family together, especially around Christmastime,” Love said. “What is so special about this collection of songs is that they both hearken back to the wonder of childhood and family, but also feel very relevant and exciting for a new season of listening. We’re looking forward to being part of the soundtrack of many holiday seasons to come.”
Reason for the Season hits stores and digital outlets October 26. The Beach Boys will also hit the road later this year on a holiday tour. Here are those dates:
