Basketball makes up much of the local Monday schedule.
On the high school level, Salem’s girls host Melbourne, the Mammoth Spring girls travel to Neelyville, Missouri, and Western Grove entertains Jasper.
Mountain Home will have five junior high squads in Paragould as they meet Greene County Tech. The eighth grade girls will begin at 4 p.m. in the multipurpose gym followed by both freshmen contests. In Reynolds Gym, the eighth grade boys will start at 4:00, and the seventh grade girls will follow.
In other junior high basketball, Cotter makes the trip to Yellville-Summit, and Valley Springs heads to Green Forest.
