A Mountain Home man has been arrested after he allegedly took a car and did not return it. The probable cause affidavit indicates 26-year-old Kenneth Arean Alexandria took the car belong to a Mountain Home woman without her permission in December. The woman told police Alexandria agreed to bring the car back but never did and then she was unable to contact him.
Police learned Alexandria was living with his mother in Mena and contact with her. She says she told him to return the car but she believed he had sold the vehicle to a scrap yard in the Mena area. A check by local authorities revealed the car has not been sold for scrap. The vehicle is valued at $3,950.
Alexandria was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Friday evening on a felony count of theft of property. His bond is set at $10,000.
