It was a sweep for the Mountain Home High School Soccer teams Tuesday night as they opened 5A East Conference play at Greene County Tech in Paragould.
For the Lady Bomber, it was also their season opener and they picked up a 1-0 victory. The lone goal was scored by Sabra Wickersham in the 52nd minute.
The Lady Bombers had 22 shots on goal while Greene County Tech only had 2.
The Mountain Home girls won’t play again until Tuesday when they host Searcy.
The Bombers cruised to a 4-0 win over Greene County Tech, out-shooting the Eagles 21-0.
Quintin Forny had two goals and an assist, Trey Ingram and Chris Matusiak each scored goals and Koby Weber, Luke Hinson and Brandon Morris each added an assist.
The Bombers improve to 3-0 and will play in a tournament at Vilonia Friday and Saturday.
The J.V. boy’s game ended in a 0-0 tie.
