MH softball team falls at home to LR Central

Friday was rough end to the week for the Mountain Home High School softball team. The Lady Bombers suffered a 10-3 loss at home to Little Rock Central. Mountain Home falls to 2-1 on the season.

Omaha had a good day on their home field. The Lady Eagles defeated Jasper 19-1.

A pair of area baseball teams had a tough opening day in the Carroll County Tournament in Berryville. Lead Hill fell to the host Bobcats 15-5, and Valley Springs lost to Pea Ridge 10-0.

Flippin’s baseball team dominated their road trip to Alpena. The Bobcats shut out the Leopards 15-0.

Salem had a good day in front of their home crowd. The Greyhounds beat Mammoth Springs by a final of 25-3.

Omaha and Jasper met at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison. The Eagles fell to the Pirates 29-13.
