
Mountain Home’s semi-pro basketball team narrowly avoided its first loss of the season Saturday at Bomber Gymnasium. After surviving a 10-0 run by Arkadelphia to start the final quarter, the Twin Lakers were able to edge out the Bulldogs 112-110.
Josh Tarver led Mountain Home with 26 points, Reggie Rogers had 25, Andre Brown provided 23, Kevin Grayer scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Nick Stone added 11 points.
The Twin Lakers improve to 5-0 on the year, and they’ll be off for a month with the all-star break coming up in two weeks in Greenville, Miss.
