Two Boone County residents, Johnnie I. Carter and Linda Carter of Harrison, both 66 years old, were killed in a collision Wednesday morning in Highland in Sharp County.
According to an Arkansas State Police report, the accident occurred when a vehicle was turning left from Alma Drive onto U.S. Highway 62/412. As the truck made its left turn, it struck the Carter vehicle in the right side. The Carter vehicle was traveling in the inside eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 62/412 at the time of the 8:24 a.m. accident.
