Baseball makes up the local Saturday schedule as both of Mountain Home’s American Legion teams will be in tournament play.
The Lockeroom starts bracket play in the Glen Winget Memorial Tournament at Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mountain Home is the top-seeded team, and they’ll take on Springfield Hillcrest for the second consecutive day. The first pitch is scheduled for noon.
Postseason play begins for Mountain Home’s junior squad in Cabot. MacLeod will take part in the Area II Junior Tournament as their first opponent in the double elimination format will be Searcy. Action is scheduled to start around 5:30.
