A Baxter County woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Izard County. According to the Arkansas State Police, 68-year-old Diane Jamison of Salesville was pronounced dead at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Jamison was traveling on Arkansas Highway 9 northeast of Sylamore. Her vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck a tree.
The weather was clear, and the road conditions were dry in the 10:41 a.m. accident.
