A one-vehicle accident in Sharp County Tuesday morning has claimed the life of an Izard County man.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Arkansas State Police, 47-year-old Devlin Bookout of Wiseman was the driver of the semi-tractor trailer traveling south on U.S. Highway 63 when it went off the right side of the road and overturned.
KAIT reports the accident occurred north of Ravenden. The Ravenden Fire Department, as well as Pro-Med Ambulance of Imboden, responded to the crash.
The ASP report notes the road was wet and there was fog at the time of the 7 a.m. crash.
