2020 Record Store Day releases include vinyl from Paul McCartney, Elton John, Rolling Stones & more

Courtesy of Record Store DayLimited-edition vinyl discs from Paul McCartney, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Who and Fleetwood Mac are among the exclusive releases that’ll be available at independent record stores for Record Store Day on April 18.

The former Beatles legend’s Record Store Day offering is a half-speed-mastered, 50th anniversary edition of his debut solo album, McCartney.

Elton will issue a two-LP deluxe 50th anniversary edition of his 1970 self-titled album, pressed on purple vinyl.

The Rolling Stones have two special releases: a Limited Collectors Edition of their classic 1969 album Let It Bleed featuring a unique multi-colored vinyl pressing, and the U.K. version of the band’s 1975 rarities album, Metamorphosis, pressed on green vinyl and packaged with an iron-on of the cover.

The Who also has two RSD releases: A Quick Live One, a red, white and blue-striped disc featuring the band’s full performance at the 1967 Monterey Pop festival; and a deluxe two-LP version of the group’s 1974 rarities album, Odds and Sods, featuring one red disc and one yellow disc.

Fleetwood Mac’s offering is an alternate version of the band’s landmark 1977 album, Rumours, featuring alternate takes of all the smash record’s songs.

Other artists who’ll release exclusive vinyl on Record Store Day include The Allman Brothers Band, America, The Black Crowes, David Bowie, Cheap Trick, The Cure, Def Leppard, Dr. John, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, Al Green, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, New Order, Pink Floyd, The Pretenders, Keith Richards, Cat Stevens, Toto, U2, Roger Waters and Warren Zevon.
