
A three vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on highway 412/62 near Fred's Fish ended with one fatality and two injured drivers.
According to Arkansas State Police, thirty-year-old Anthony Poyner of Paragould was air-lifted to Cox-South in Springfield where he was later pronounced dead. 83-year-old James Memohon of Mountain Home and 80-year-old Janet Newman of Elizabeth were both transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
The 12:40pm accident occurred when Poyner's vehicle crossed over the center line, striking Newman's vehicle head-on, pushing her vehicle backward into Memohon's vehicle.
An update of their condition wasn't available at the time of the report.
