Salem picked up a sweep in volleyball action Thursday night at home against Izard County.
In the high school match, the Lady Greyhounds were 3-2 winners, winning by scores of 23-25, 25-11, 26-24, 18-25 and 15-1.
Erica Tudor had eight kills and three aces; Kyla Stevens and Pilar Rosado each had six kills; Mackenzie Hill finished with five kills, 12 digs and five aces; Hannah Guffey had five kills, two blocks and three aces; Shae Bassham collected 15 digs; Grace Benedict had 10 digs and 11 assists; Maddy Miller had 15 assists; and Samantha Guiltner had 14 digs.
The Lady Greyhounds improve to 5-4 on the season.
The Junior Lady Greyhounds upped their record to 7-2 with a 2-0 win over Izard County.
Maddie Keen finished with nine kills; Hannah Dailey had three kills; Madi Price collected two kills; Alli Smith served four aces; Allyson Tanner had four aces and 12 digs; and Olivia Smith finished with 18 digs, three aces and three kills.
