North Arkansas Electric Cooperative has another power outage planned for this week in a portion of Izard County. The outage is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. for members served by the Pineville and Brockwell susbstations.
According to NAEC Marketing and Communications Director Tori Moss, the outage is necessary to safely complete a transmission maintenance project. It’s expected to last under 15 minutes and affect 3,000 member accounts in the Bandmill, Brockwell, Calico Rock, Culp, Mount Olive, Newburg, Optimus, Oxford, Pineville and Wideman areas.
Those affected should have received an automated call Monday afternoon at the numbers in the cooperative’s file.
