Flippin’s volleyball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class 2A State Tournament after Tuesday’s opener at Cutter-Morning Star High School in Hot Springs. The Lady Bobcats needed all five sets, but they were able to beat Conway St. Joseph 16-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-16 and 15-3. Kaylee Warren served 10 straight points in the final set to help Flippin improve to 14-7 on the season. Flippin will go up against Mansfield on Wednesday.
