Mountain Home was able to pick up two wins hosting Douglas MacArthur from Jonesboro for three games.
The freshman girls’ game ended with the Junior Lady Bombers beating the Lady Cyclones 33-16. Ashlyn Estes led Mountain Home with 12 points. The Junior Lady Bombers improve to 14-2 on the season.
Mountain Home did not fare as well in the freshman boys’ contest falling to MacArthur 29-24. The Junior Bombers were led by Braiden Dewey with 11 points. Mountain Home drops to 6-5 on the year.
The evening began with the eighth grade girls’ game, as Mountain Home toppled MacArthur 35-20. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers’ record stands at 6-2.
Mountain Home’s freshman teams will play again Monday at home against Greene County Tech. The eighth grade girls will entertain Ozark Mountain on Saturday.
