The freezing precipitation of the previous days in the Twin Lakes Area brought along ice. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Baxter, Marion, Izard, Stone, Fulton, Searcy, Boone and Newton counties in North Central Arkansas until noon Thursday.
Meteorologist Justin Condrey from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says area residents should proceed with caution with Thursday’s weather.
Condrey adds the approaching cold weather this weekend could harm water pipes, pets, and people so proceed with caution.
