The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had a successful night as they were able to sweep Greenwood on Friday.
The Lady Bombers came away with a 1-0 victory over the Lady Bulldogs as Kenzie Hatman scored on a corner kick. Hatman also led Mountain Home with seven takeaways. The Lady Bombers improve to 5-5-2 in the 5A-West, and they’ll travel to Van Buren on Monday.
Mountain Home also won the boys’ match over Greenwood 2-1. Luke Hinson and James Douglas scored the Bombers’ goals, Gage Slaughter dished out two assists, Chris Matusiak and Jack Sheaner each added an assist, and Luke Darracq recorded three saves. The Bombers will host Alma Wednesday for Senior Night.
The junior varsity boys’ match ended in a 1-1 tie. Clement Chapus scored Mountain Home’s only goal.
