Pinkston students win Writing Showcase awards

Two Pinkston Middle School students recently received high honors from the Arkansas Literacy Associations state Student Writing Showcase.

Dylan Prins, a student in Stephanie Hughes’ seventh-grade English class, received a second place award for his submission.

Deanna Human, a student in Toni Hambys seventh-grade English class, received a third place award for her submission.

Prins, Human and their families will attend a virtual recognition ceremony hosted by the Arkansas Literacy Association via Zoom on May 18.
