
The St. Louis Cardinals are set to begin a five-game home stand on Tuesday. The Redbirds will start with a two-game series against division foe Pittsburgh.
St. Louis was swept in a three-game series at San Diego over the weekend. Despite that, the Cardinals remain at the top of the National League Central standings with a two-game lead on Milwaukee. The Pirates are currently in last place in the division. Pittsburgh most recently split a four-game series with San Francisco.
John Gant will be on the mound for the Redbirds, and the Pirates will go with J.T. Brubaker. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 6:45. Tuesday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 5:50 with Ameren Total Access.
