After being rained out again Thursday night, the Gainesville High School baseball team will try to complete their Class 2 State Tournament quarterfinal round game Friday evening. The game started Wednesday evening in Gainesville but was halted in the fourth inning with Marionville leading the Bulldogs 1-0. The contest was scheduled to resume Thursday night but was again postponed by rain.
Friday evening’s resumption of the game begins at 5:30 in Forsyth.
The winner faces Putnam County in the state semifinals Monday in Ozark.
