A 45-year-old Koshkonong, Mo., man has died four days after suffering serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on June 16 in Howell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Paul D. Ryan died Saturday night at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, hwere he had been taken via air ambulance following the crash.
The crash occurred when Ryan failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the highway and overturned. He was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash.
The report notes Ryan was not wearing a helmet or any other protective gear at the time of the 1:35 a.m. accident, which occurred on Missouri Highway 142, east of Lanton, just north of the Arkansas-Missouri state line.
