An area man was killed Monday afternoon in a crash on private property. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 78-year-old Joseph Hamby of Ava was killed when his truck ran off the roadway and went into a creek bed.
The accident happened on private property, four miles south of Good Hope in Douglas County at 4:00 Monday afternoon.
