The Flippin girls and Izard County boys picked up wins Thursday in a five-team golf match at the Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend.
The Lady Bobcats shot a team total 160 to finish 11 shots ahead of second place Viola. Cave City was third.
Madelyn Lindsey of Flippin was medalist with a 46. The Lady Bobcats also had the second place golfer as Peyton Wolf shot a 53. Viola’s top golfer was Kennedy Renfro with a 55.
On the boy’s side, Izard County finished with a 128, 18 strokes better than second place Viola. Flippin was third.
The medalist was Izard County’s Denton Reiley who shot a 39. Viola was led by Braden Williams with a 45. Flippin’s top golfer was Cody Downs with a 43.
