
The Mountain Home High School volleyball team opened its season on a winning note as they went to Harrison. The Lady Bombers won the match in four sets with scores of 25-19, 25-15, 21-25 and 25-19.
Carson Schmitz led Mountain Home with 12 kills, 17 assists and four digs; Lindsay Jensen provided nine kills and dished outs 21 assists; Georgia Burnham had nine kills and three blocks; Kendall Carter finished with eight kills and 13 digs; Riley Schmitz ended up with 15 digs; Cate Jackson had nine digs; and Tatum Smith added four blocks.
The Lady Bombers start the season with a record of 1-0.
Mountain Home also topped Harrison in the junior varsity match. The match needed all three sets as the J.V. Lady Bombers had scores of 25-15, 19-25 and 15-9.
