
The Mountain Home Junior High basketball teams traveled to West Memphis West Monday evening and won both games.
The Junior Bombers are now 6-1 after a 39-9 win. Mountain Home led 22-4 at halftime.
Rhett Gilbert led the scoring with 17 points.
In the junior girls’ game, Mountain Home raced out to a 30-6 halftime lead and won by a final of 50-12 to improve to 4-2 on the season.
Laykin Moore led the charge with 22 points, and Whitten Coleman scored 10.
The Mountain Home Junior High teams will host Nettleton Thursday.
