A boil order issued by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) in late January for the entire Fifty Six Waterworks system remains in place, according to the agency’s website.

The order for the system in Stone County was issued Jan. 31 due to a construction-related break.

Meanwhile, a second boil order has been issued in Stone County.

The ADH website indicates a boil order was issued Wednesday afternoon for a portion of the Mountain View Waterworks system due to a main break.

The area impacted is for Aaron Hollow Road to Hickory Circle Road and Bluffs Drive, including Sylamore Ridge, Geier and Buckpond roads.

Under the boil orders, all impacted customers are advised their water may be unsafe for human consumption. Water used for drinking or food preparation should be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
