15 building permits issued in June

A new commercial building leads the building permits for June, according to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department. The permit has been issued to Discount Tire for property located at 3027 Highway 62 East. The construction value of the 7,098-square-foot business is $950,000.A permit was issued to Americom Construction, on behalf of the Mountain Home Christian Academy, for a commercial remodel of property located at 1989 Glenbriar Drive with a construction value of $100,574.

Two permits were issued for new residential buildings. The first permit being issued to UC Construction for a 2,775-square-foot property located at 111 Oak Ridge Road with a construction value of 360,000. The second issued to Phillip Patton on behalf of Phillip Patton Construction for a 2,349-square-foot property located at 1400 Laurel with a construction value of 200,000.

Three residential addition permits were issued. The first being issued to Stephen Walton for a property located at 520 Willow Lane with a construction value of $40,000. The second issued to Brandon Sanders for property located at 3332 Partipilo Street with a construction value of $25,000 and the third being issued to Tina Bradley for property located at 1415 Ashley with a construction value of $15,000.

The remaining permits were for commercial signs and issued to:

Sign Tech, for FNBC Community Bank located at 175 West End Way, with a construction value of $40,000;

A2Z Designs and More, for Lakeview Auto Sales located at 803 Sanford Lane, with a construction value of $15,000;

Cupples Sign Company on behalf of First Community Bank, located at 310 Highway 62 East with a $5,800 construction value;

Arkansas Sign and Banners, for Walmart store #11 located at 65 Walmart Drive, with a construction value of $5,000;

Springfield Signs, for Dunham Sports located at 721 Highway 62 East, with a construction value of $4,800;

Harrison Signs on behalf of Super Cuts, located at 2995 Highway 62 East, with a $3,300 construction value;

DiJohn Designs, for Nomad Clothing Co, located at 2 East 7th Street, with a construction value of $700; and

Auntie Anne Food Truck, located on Highway 62 East, with a $100 construction value.

Total construction value of the 15 permits issued in June equals just over $1.7 million.

The cost of all permits issued in June totaled $6,740.
