Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services has completed an expansion of its facility at 600 Hospital Drive in Mountain Home. The expansion includes a first of its kind feature for North Central Arkansas.The 1,500-square-foot expansion houses two conference/family meeting rooms, staff offices, a cremation chapel and cremation viewing rooms.Jason Kirby, president and funeral director, says the cremation chapel is the first of its type for this area.Kirby says the additional space allows for expansion of Kirby’s merchandise room.
He says the Mountain Home facility expansion allows Kirby’s staff to offer more choices for the families they serve. The cremation chapel and viewing room provide a new experience for families. Growing requests for eco-friendly burials led Kirby’s to offer more green options in the types of services and product they offer.
Established in 1976, Kirby & Family is a family-owned funeral and cremation service provider with locations in Mountain Home and Bull Shoals, as well as its cemetery and mausoleum complex just east of Gassville.
