The Melbourne High School football team was able to finish its regular season unbeaten. The Bearkatz, currently ranked second in Class 3A by the Arkansas Sports Media, went on the road Friday and breezed past Atkins 49-7. The 3A-2 conference champions from Melbourne improve to 10-0 on the season and 6-0 in the league, and they’ll host Jessieville in the opening round of the Class 3A State Playoffs.
