While the recent rainfall did not result in a daily record being broken, this month has entered the top 10 among the wettest months of March in recorded history. With nearly a week left of the month, 2023 currently sits at No. 8 for rainfall in March at 8.3 inches.

At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, 1.99 inches of rain have fallen since 7 Friday morning. That will be recorded officially for March 25, falling short of the day’s record of 2.36 inches set in 1920.

Currently, the wettest March on record is 15.32 inches in 2008.
