
The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had mixed results on Friday as they went to Greenwood.
The Bomber boys doubled up the Bulldogs 2-1. Alvaro Salas and Sergi Carmona each scored a goal and dished out an assist, and Odei Alcalde recorded five saves. Mountain Home improves to 9-1-2 on the season, and they’ll compete in the Southerner Invitational Saturday at Southside Batesville.
Mountain Home did not fare as well on the girls’ side. The Lady Bombers suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Greenwood.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s junior varsity boys shutting out Greenwood 2-0. Alex Chen and Garrett Barr each scored a goal, Ethan Clark and Dierks Beauregard each had an assist, and Jacob Taylor finished with two saves.
