5 students receive Mtn. Home Elk’s Lodge scholarships

Mountain Home Elk’s Lodge #1714 recently announced the recipients of $1,000 scholarships.

Four students from Mountain Home High School (MHHS) and one student from Cotter High School have been awarded.

From Mountain Home, scholarships were provided to:

Hunter Bahr who will be attending the Science and Technology School of Engineering in Rolla, Mo. to major in Aerospace Engineering;
Brooke Bayless, attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to major in Political Science and minor in Legal Studies, pre-law track;
Ivan Bondarenko, attending William Patterson University in New Jersey to major in Biotechnology with honors track in cognitive science; and
Isaiah Kemp, who will attend Arkansas State University in Jonesboro to major in Physical Therapy.
From Cotter High School, Madison Caple has been awarded. She will attend Arkansas State University Mountain Home and then move on to ASU Jonesboro to major in social work.
