An Izard County woman was found less than a day after she was reported missing. The Silver Alert for 77-year-old Georgia Mae Parker of Calico Rock was declared inactive after she was located near her residence at approximately 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Parker was originally reported missing at eight p.m. Friday after last being seen on Highway 5 near the Arkansas Department of Correction’s North Central Unit north of Calico Rock. A spokesperson from the Izard County Sheriff’s Office says she appeared to be in good condition when she was found near Highway 5.
